Project Experiences

Mega Ace Consultancy was appointed b2b Networking Partner by the Quebec Office at the Canadian Consulate in Mumbai for one of the largest delegation from Quebec to India. The delegation comprises 50 members including food and agri-business companies seeking direct B2B meetings with Indian companies. As b2b Networking partner Mega Ace successfully organized over 150 business meetings for the delegation members with Indian companies. Apart from catering to the needs of Trade Mission, Mega Ace regularly works with individual companies from across the world seeking to understand India and tap into the business opportunities that the country provides. For these companies, Mega Ace Consultancy organises specific business meetings with Indian companies’ who include potential partners seeking to establish trade and business linkages, joint-ventures, customers, suppliers among others. For our clients we have organised business meetings with Indian companies across India including remote cities and towns of the country. As required, a Mega Ace team member is designated to accompany the company executives and undertake all pre-visit, during the visit and post visit follow-up and coordination on behalf of the company. We have provided such individual specialised services to food and agri-business companies from various countries across Europe, America, Australia and Asia.
Mega Ace has also provided consulting services to the Canadian Agri‐Food Trade Mission to India which was organized by the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, World Trade Center of Montreal and Council for Transformation of Agri‐Food and Consumer Products (CTAC) in October 2008. The visit comprised a business delegation visit to New Delhi & Mumbai. Mega Ace successfully coordinated and arranged 4 to 8 meetings and industrial visits for each delegation member in each city. The work involved gathering an in‐depth understanding and analysis of the profile of the companies visiting India as part of the Trade Mission. Following this analysis, ideas and suggestions were exchanged. Based on these exchanges a detailed review was undertaken to identity potentially suitable companies in India with whom meetings could be arranged. The underlining objective during the process of coordinating and arranging the meetings was to ensure that the best value can be delivered to the Trade Mission delegates. Among the other projects undertaken by Mega Ace is the study of the business potential of the Ready to Eat (R2E) foods sector in India for one of the largest players in the hospitality sector in India, aimed at establishing the market viability of the business in the country.
Our expert has also been associated with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Government of Australia (1999-2005) as a project consultant and worked on their project entitled Supermarket to Asia II currently known as National Food Industry Strategy Ltd (NFIS) covering the food industry in India and Sri Lanka.

We bring the expertise of working on the report on Sugarcane Production Practices Assessment - Study of Sugarcane Production in India for Agriculture Markets Department of WWF, Washington, USA and other allied sectors such as the Poultry Industry in India for Pfizer Animal Health a business unit of Pfizer Inc, USA (2009); Wheat & Rice Value Chain - India for Deere & Co (John Deere) USA (2009/2010) and Rice Value Chain – Indonesia for Deere & Co (John Deere) USA (2010). We have also worked on a report “Export of Renewable Raw Materials from Developing Countries for Non-Energetic Use in Germany”; Castor Cultivation & Castor Oil in India (2010/2011) and Jute Cultivation & Jute Fibre in Bangladesh.(2010/2011).
The past project handled by our expert also includes;

  • Australian Horticultural Corporation, Australia 1999- 2000) as Project Leader, India - responsible for the introduction and promotion of Australian apples, pears and citrus fruits to the Indian market.
  • Victorian Chemicals Co. Pty. Ltd, Australia (1997 – 2005) -- Country Manager, India introducing grape drying, raisin processing technology and Victoria Fruit Drying Oil to grape growers in Maharashtra and Karnataka, India.
