Project Brief: The key objective of the study was to undertake an evaluative study of the preferred countries by Indian students for education and the reasons for their decisions. The study also included an assessment of the criteria which influenced students in deciding a country for higher education and a detailed perception study of Holland as an education destination
- Pan Caribbean SME-ICT Competitiveness Development Programme
Project Brief: The work included formulation of enabling strategies and policies for the SME-ICT sector for augmenting institutional capacities, implementation and training of Network Brokerage and SME Database development. The programme sought to bring about closer integration among the SME sector companies in Antigua & Barbuda, Belize, Dominica, St. Kitts & Nevis and St. Lucia though the use of ICT and involved building of the network brokerage systems of sectoral clusters and an SME Database providing them with training and mentoring support and dissemination.
- Comprehend India Programme
Project Brief: Under the aegis of Capability Building and Organisational Development programmes, Mega Ace offers consultancy services to E-MBA programme participants from the HEC School of Management, Paris. The programme entitled "Comprehend India; Understanding Business in an Emerging Economy" is designed, planned and organised by Mega Ace. The theme of the visit is oriented towards undertaking a perceptive study of the New Business Opportunities that the Indian Economy provides to global entrepreneurs in a new liberalised international environment. This programme seeks to sensitise participants of the Executive Programme on mission critical aspects of handling the business and cultural ethos of a socio-economically diverse economy even as they attempt at Value Creation through business development. The programme is more pertinent given the fact that developing countries are showing surging economic performance over the last decade.
- Research Services for the Business Action in Asia Conference
Project Brief: Within the context of the impressive economic achievements of Asia, the private sector has been playing a significant role in driving economic growth, contributing to employment generation and poverty reduction. There are both opportunities and challenges for sustaining that growth, as well as lessons to be learned from private sector experience and partnerships with governments. Business Action in Asia Conference was organised by CBC supported by DFID, UK to provide an opportunity to learn and benchmark from successful business activity and to develop partnerships for the longer-term sustainable economic development of the Asian region. Key themes of the Conference included; building on Asian success and sustaining private sector led growth; enhancing growth and sustainable development through global partnerships; enablers and impediments for the investment climate; development of small and medium enterprises; partnerships for the delivery of infrastructure (physical and services); and financial services as products for the poor. As knowledge partners to the Commonwealth Business Council, Mega Ace services included the research and preparation of theme papers on key conference topics and the presentation of the final report and recommendation of the Business Action in Asia conference at the concluding session.
- Consultancy Services for understanding the perception of India Inc. towards France as an investment destination
Project Brief: Though an in-dept interface at the Senior Management level the study sought to understand the perception of leading Indian companies towards France as a potential destination for their investments.
- Gateway Asia Project- Phase II Study of the Indian SME sector openness to ICT in trade and business
Project Brief: The project was undertaken to decide policy framework to provide growth impetus for Small and Medium Size companies by promoting cross border trade through internet technology.
Mega Ace undertook a large scale research to understand, assess and analyze the technology requirements of the SME firms in India. The study was conducted across cities and industry to provide reliable information for the policy frame work of Gateway project of SRP. This study was not restricted to understand the openness of the SME sector using Internet technology as a business enhancer but also elicited positive response by soft selling the benefits of Gateway Asia to enable international trade. The finding of this duty was used to delineate the policy frame work both operational and strategic of SRP. The sole objective of the SRP was to promote the Gateway Asia project in South Asia and China region.
- Gateway Asia Project- Phase I Sectoral & policy study for feasibility analysis for Gateway Asia Portal
Project Brief: This project involved doing a feasibility study for Gateway Asia Portal, an ICT project to enhance trade links between SME sector of UK and India. The study besides feasibility analysis also included a Macro Assessment of future trends in the growth of trade links between India and UK. The study identified and highlighted the significant gaps including the growth barriers in the trade relations in the UK-India corridor. The study emphasized on understanding and delineating the gaps and issues for SMEs in both countries and in the enlarged context of Europe –South Asian trade. It also sought to understand partnering initiatives across two countries particularly in the sector of Food, Creative Industries, ICT, media, Jewellery, Clothing and Entertainment and the known support structures, including on-line business support.
- Management & Advisory Services for Investment Promotion in Apparel, Textile & Leather Industry
Project Brief: Advised the state government of Andhra Pradesh on accelerating flow of investments into the State of Andhra Pradesh. The State government appointed Mega Ace to study the reasons for poor grounding of projects in the state in the Apparel, Textile and Leather Industry by examining the problems within the Government administration and the socio-political system and identify bottlenecks for flow of investments. To analyze the industrial and labour productivity of crucial sectors and recommend measures, including policy initiatives for improving performance of these sectors to assist the state government in attracting investors to the state. Mega Ace advised state government on incubation policies to promote entrepreneurial support to the SME sector in the state.
- Management & Advisory Services for Investment Promotion in Finance, Banking & Insurance sector
Project Brief: The state government of Andhra Pradesh appointed Mega Ace Consultancy [India] Ltd. as consultants for the sector of finance, banking and insurance to frame policies for attracting flow of investments from the above mentioned sector into the State. The reason being due to poor grounding of projects the state was unable to attract investments in the SME sector. Mega Ace studied the Government administration and the socio-political system to understand the poor flow of investments. Mega Ace advised the government on the investor friendly policies to provide impetus to its industries. The policy framework advised by Mega Ace sought to increase credit delivery into the industry.
- Study of Investment and Growth Opportunities in Indian Food Processing Industry
Project Brief: Mega Ace undertook an exhaustive study on the agri business and food processing industry in India which largely included small to medium size companies being studied to build a rational for investments in this sector. The sector was studied to advise on the opportunity areas viz-a-viz the impact of the government policies on the sector.

Project Brief: The study of risks assessment in various types of contracts, policy formation about user charges in the road sector. The study also involved a path breaking research on innovative financial arrangements to attract private investments in the sector.
- International Capital Markets Qualification: Executive Development
Project Brief: Arranging a five day programme offering training / examination and certificates in the International Capital Market with an intent to align participants to the International Standards in the Capital Market Segment. The training programme included studies on future options and other derivative products, international fixed interest and bond markets, mutual funds and international equity market. The training programme was conducted as an interactive workshop and also offered personal workbooks. The training programme concluded with an examination for obtaining international capital market qualification certificates from the Securities Institute of UK.
